Lil' Baby Heals a Heart

This cat portrait was done for a man in California after his wife contacted me through my new program called “Art for the Aching Heart.” Her husband had a stroke and had to go into a rehabilitation center for a month. While there, he asked if it would be okay to bring his cat, Little Baby for a visit. They had a strict no-pet policy. His wife told me he was crushed. She reached out to me hoping I would paint his cat so he could have her there in spirit. His family prayed over the painting and told him that every time he looked at it, her loving eyes would send him healing love to help him while he rehabbed. Once he received it, his spirits soared. Whenever he felt discouraged, he looked at his painting and told her he would be home soon.
